Take battery out of bottom there should be screws that hold keyboard in at the top there should be a panel along the font next too the screen that should lift up there, normally screwed in or cliped lift up gently too get to the top of the keyboard it should slide out when the screws from undernieth are removed..

Maxdata 6000 I numlock disabled
in start menue go to all programs> accessories>accessability
and open the on screen keyboard.
there the numlock button will be shown highlighted. just single click on the numlock button.

Maxdata keyboard suddenly does not work after two years.  Only the touch pad works
sounds like your keyboard connector has come loose, these eyboard units are actually a seperate keyboard and mouse pad built into one unit, so the mouse's electronics are seperate,

you may also want to check the connector to see if there are any broken/bent pins in the connector (sometimes happens, when accidently unplugged)

Installing RAM to Maxdata ECO 3100x
The ram is sited under the keyboard, to remove undo case screws on underneath of laptop. Then, where the keyboard bottom edge meets the laptop case yo will find 3 lugs... which can be pushed in. Lift off keyboard, then undo access panel on right side of laptop. There you will see the 2 memory slots.

Need a bios download for maxdata laptop
remove the rtc battery for about 5min then replace this will reset bios to factory standard.(wont need to flash)
its usually located under the keyboard on mother board it looks like a large watch battery sometimes sealed.(covered)
