How do I remove post from exercise bike proform 920s ekg? I turn and turn the knob but nothing happens.

Remove the cover under it is a rubber wheel and spring and that has worn or the spring has lost the tention replace as needed.

I looked into this thinking is must be a simple belt, or tention wheel, but these devices are much more complex than the average exercise machine. See the Recumbent selection here.

It appears that the tentioning device is a magnetic brake.
This would require that it be plugged into a power source and programmed to provide a desired tention.
I've never used one of these so I can't say what kind of programming options there are or where they are found.

The GR80 uses for type D batteries. The battery compartment is on the bottom of the console, look for the D-shaped battery door, press the tab located towards the front side of the console and open the door. Careful, the batteries may fall down if you open the door - type Ds are heavy enough to be felt when they fall on your feet.
