I'm Sorry, you cant use an Infrared signal Remote for a blue signal Sony BDP- whatever BluRay Player.
Only a BDP-B101A - B105A gives a blue light signal for S300-S550 to get past the opening menu.
It will not sink

Since the codes that Comcast gave you did not work, there is a very high possibility that the remote control is not compatible with the DVD player. You cannot expect universal remote control to work with all devices, regardless of its make. Philips does not have codes for this DVD player because it is the maker of the universal remote control that sets the codes.

try 093. it worked on my samsung remote for my insignia blu ray player. Insignia instructs you to use sylvania codes and this code is listed under DVDplayers in my samsung guide. like i said...it worked for me!

Living in Europ (Belgium) having a lot of American basketball video's who I cannot play.
You buy a very expensive Philips soundbar toghether with an even more expensive big flat Philips ambilight LED TV and it's imposible to feel you realy in the Boston Garden or at the LA Forum.
This s...s very much, I feel like Philips is shoplifting me.
