You don't have to reprogram anything with an ipod, the software are giving you problems, you can reset it back to factory settings(default settings) ie. "Restoring iPod to factory settings". All your data will be deleted upon reseting to default settings. Reference link from Apple

Tranferring solutions

nahh, you shoulden need to do that.

Ive never heard about that "authorazi" issue before...strange M8!

When i tranfer/delete files on my ipod i just open the Itunes program, connecting my ipod nano, make a ney playlist, drag and dropp the files to that list (ist on the left side in Itunes program) and then i click on my Ipod in the Itunes program (ist in the midle on the left side in the Itunes program). Then i dragand drop the files in the map i want in my ipod.

So , here is step by step how to do it
1) download and istall Itunes v8
2) start the Itunes program
3) connect your ipod to your laptop/pc
4) Itunes schould find your ipod and swow it
5) click on your ipod in the Itunes program
6) try to create a new folder in your ipod
7) delete that folder by right click on ot and select DELETE
8) In the Itunes, create a new playlist
9) drag and drop the music files from your laptop/pc to that playlist
10) click on your ipod when done with the drag and drop
11) drag the file or folder from your new created playlist in to your ipod
VIOLA! that should do it and the files you wanted should now be in your Ipod.

If you want to delete the files on your Ipod just rightclick on them and select DELETE

Ipod installation CD

The iPod CD is just the programs neccesary to run an iPod. You can download these programs for free at apple.com/downloads by downloading itunes, it will make available the programs to run the ipod by plugging in the ipod to your computer.

Ipod attatchments

As long as you have a connection to the internet you should have gotten a CD with the ipod program on it. If so install the program and once that happens, plug in your ipod with the patch cord (if you don't have a cord, you can get one at any electronics store(very cheap) provided with your ipod. The ipod program should be able to find your ipod that is attached to your computer. When this happens, an ipod icon should appear on the left hand-middle side of your ipod program. When that happens your ready to download music or put your cd's on your ipod.
