Same exact thing. Turned it on this morning and it's locked on the startup "magellan" screen. Like the bootloader is bad or the OS is gone. The stupid thing is only 2 months old. I attemted to install the Magellan 2008/2009 Map update on my 3250. After about 20 minutes of downloading, the program displayed a message that the update had not properly installed. I followed the instructions to reset the 3250, enter backup, and restart the download. When I did this, the 3250 freezes on the blue screen displaying "Maestro". I contacted tech support and they are shipping a new copy of the software with new unlock code, but I don't see what good this will do if my 3250 won"t even get to the main menu wher the software requires it to be to start the update.

I am having the exact smae issue. After about 15 to 20 minutes of the 2008/2009 map update running/loading the error message appeared. Follwed the instrucrions and my 3250 is stuck on the blue screen with the progress bar. My PC does not recognize it now and I'm dead in the water. This unit has not been all it was sold as. My power adapter failed only a few weeks after purchase and the factory sent me a replacement without the FM antenna stating this was all that was available.
