We have the same problem. Where can we get a thermistor? When I called LG's parts suppliers, it was $78 and they didn't have any instock, and had no idea when they would. We have the same problem. Note that there is am error in some guides. They say a maximum of 194 degrees (F), It should be 149 degrees. Re-check that inlet water temp is less than 149 degrees. Optimal and minumum temperature is 120 degrees.
A failing thermister is pretty rare.
