hello. Your proform can be operated on electric or with 4 D cell batteries. If you do not have the power supply cord that comes with this unit you must order one from the company. The information on how to order one from the company is at the end of the manual. Here is the manual:

1. When walking on the treadmill the belt abruptly stops.
2. As the speed increases so does the noise. Is this associated with the belt tension? Tightening the belt causes the belt not to move at all. What might be the solution to 1 & 2?
