that you say scart I am guessing you are in europe. It could be that the update or use of HD cables changed your xbox setting to NTSC as opposed to PAL and using the scart cable probably automatically

pal settings why when asked to change settings to pal 60 game is not clear change to pal 60 automatically with the setting in the dashboard if this isd not it it may be your tv is not compataible
