How to you connect to the serial port to a DSR2010?
the 2010 is a legacy KVM DSR, and you might not have the same features that are present on the 8035 model. the settings to connect to the 2010 with a NullModem cable are 9600, 8, none, 1, none (same as Cisco settings).
The 8035 comes with a special adaptor which is DB9 to RJ45 and it comes in the box.
I hope that answers your question.
As far as console logs goes, no such thing on the DSR line.
Avocent kvm monitor flashing red light
So it's the monitor that flashes red? I would try the monitor on a PC to determine if the monitor is good. If not, replace monitor. If monitor works on a PC but not the KVM, power cycle the KVM. Depending on the model you may be able to do a hard reset. On other models you can access the KVM via IP to determine if there is an issue with the KVM.

AVRIQ-USB locks up
Locking up is most likely due to your target, Make sure if you are running Win 2008, and up or Win-7 and up to disable USB Selective Suspend mode.
Disconnect your session and reconnect.
