Aspirin is a pain blocker in its own right and is not solely for blood thinning
it is good for migraines and other head aches so talk with your doctor to get the right medication needed for your problems
pain in the neck and shoulders can be from misalignment of the spine pulling on the muscles so talk with a chiropractor for a realignment as that is better than medication

Not sure but try doing two tests using different blood samples taken at same time. Note that there is always a small difference in sample results
