Ups on after over load
there is a no load shutdown facility to ups and ups does not on without load so that no power without load

Well Most Likely Your Problem Is A Bad Connection Of Power To The Hard Drive Or Motherboard Also You Should Check The IDE Or SATA Cable That Goes From The MotherBoard To The Hard Drive Is Securely Connected On Both Ends
