My gps is stuck on magellan boot up screen.
turn on your 1210 once it boots to the magellan screen press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds, once it shuts off, power it back on by pressing and holding the power button for up to ten seconds then let it load.
if that fails,power it up and try the reset button, (either on the bottom or on the side)the little pinhole, and use a paper clip to depress the reset
button.

I have a Map 330 from 2001 and I have never lost any data.I assume it might be possible if the unit was left without batteries for 10+ years, but I would have thought for a "21st Century" device (Just by the date), it would have Flash memory?However due to GPS Rollover in August 2019The Date may not set properly and will remain fixed on 2003 or similar.This doesn't however affect navigation, because the time function updates correctly, but The Fishing/Hunting and Sunrise Tables, will have the old date, but you can I think enter the current date manually to see this information, as they probably loaded more than 20 years worth of information?To stop having to look at the wrong date (it doesn't affect navigation) turn off the position information screen and just have the Map, Satellite and large viewing screen David

My gps is stuck at a screen that displays a usb
the software is corrupted. you have to download the recovery tool for your device and reformat it. it needs to be done by being hooked up to the computer, but it's a pretty easy process. and free! tho when i did it, it got stuck on a rebooting loop for forever, but i tried plugging it into smarteco and updating the map, which seems to have fixed the whole thing and it's working fine now.
