Can we replace a Triton Enrich 8.5kw shower that has broken with a Triton Enrich 10.5kw or will we need bigger cable?

The Triton Enrich 8.5kW shower typically requires a 40A MCB rating1. In contrast, the 10.5kW model requires a slightly higher 45A MCB rating. If your existing cable is rated for 40A, you'll need to upgrade it to accommodate the higher power requirement of the 10.5kW shower. Consult an electrician to assess whether your current cable can handle the increased load.

I have a Hito atomic clock. It's stuck in default Pacific time and I am on EST. Instructions tell you to set the time zone, but don't tell you how) and there isn't a setting/button on the back.

Press the TZ button: Look for a button labeled "TZ" on the front of your clock. Press it to enter the time zone setting mode. Select your time zone: Once in the time zone setting mode, you'll be able to cycle through different time zones. Choose the one that corresponds to Eastern Standard Time (EST). In some models, you might see abbreviations like "ET" or "E." Set the current time: After selecting the correct time zone, press the "SET" button. The hour will be displayed in the upper left-hand corner of the LCD screen, and the minutes will be displayed in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. Adjust the time using the appropriate buttons until it reflects the current time in your area. If you encounter instructions referring to a non-existant button on the back (one that your model does not have), try the following:
  1. Press and hold the "SET" button: Look for a button labeled "SET" on the front of your clock. Press and hold it until the display enters the time zone setting mode.
  2. Select your time zone: While still holding the "SET" button, use the appropriate buttons (usually labeled with arrows or +/-) to cycle through different time zones. Choose the one that corresponds to Eastern Standard Time (EST).
  3. Release the "SET" button: Once you've selected the correct time zone, release the "SET" button. The clock should now display the correct time for your area.

What is a meat tenderizer?

This is used to tenderize meat before you cook it. It makes the meat easier to chew and digest. You can also use it before you boil or fry meat. You can do this mechanically, with something like a meat mallet that cuts up the meat fibres. You can do it thermally by putting the temperature really high to break down the connective tissue of the meat. The last method is enzymatic and uses enzymes to break down the collagen. This method is either slow with dry-aging the meat or you can use fruit to marinate the meat.

Lost half of my jets on one side of the tub only.I have tried closing the jets that do work half, does not make a difference to the jets not working.Would it be best to empty the tub and start over?

it's likely due to an air lock. Here's what you can do to resolve this issue: Manually Clearing an Airlock: Run the jets on low for about 30 seconds. Then run the jets on high for another 30 seconds. Repeat this process 3 or 4 times. If you hear a gurgling sound and see air bubbling up, continue running your hot tub until it pushes all the air out. If this doesn't work after several attempts, try a different approach. Bleeder Valves or Pump Method: Some spas have bleeder valves that allow you to bleed air out of the lines. First, turn off the spa at the breaker. Access the pump and loosen the valve to allow the air to escape. When the air has bled out (you'll notice it turns from hissing air to a stream of water), close the valve. Run the pump to ensure the jets are now pumping water as expected. Why Are the Jets Not Working on One Side Only?: Many hot tubs have two water pumps. If the jets on only one side of your hot tub stop working, there could be an airlock in only one of the pumps. It could also be a blockage in the jet lines for that side or a problem with the internal mechanism of the jet itself. Can You Use a Spa with an Airlock?: It is not recommended to use a hot tub with an airlock.

I have a 30 inch pendulum wall clock. I put 2 AA batteries in, but still won't work. Love the clock, where to take to repair? serial 2,055,787 mfg no 9.

It is from the year 2000, if one believes the Internet search results. These clocks can not be repaired since the hands would almost always be differently attached. Changing parts is also the only option. At best you'll find a clock as donor for both the mechanic part and the hands. Nowadays quartz clocks have seamless motion and therefor no ticking sound. Some are adjusted by radio signals. Please do check if you placed batteries deep enough on the positive side and the contacts not being corroded.

F MAUTHE Antique Clock Movement W500 VII. It runs fast. Not the pendulum type.

On the movement by the balance wheel, you will see a small lever with a Plus + and Minus -. Sliding one way or the other changes the accuracy. The better way is to have it cleaned and serviced and have the movement timed electronically. A machine listens to the ticks and you calibrate accordingly. https://www.google.com/search?q=mauthe+w500+vii ..

I just received my pressure cooker and it keeps giving me an error message E4. why?

Generally, the E4 error code means that the sensor in the pc is faulty and needs to be replaced. Contact the place where you bought it immediately (if it's still under warranty) or contact the manufacturer to ask for a replacement. Good Luck!
