Map sensor where is the map sensor located on a 2002 dodge intrepide 2.7

The MAP sensor mounts to the driver side of the intake manifold plenum.

Removal & Installation

1. Remove the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor.
3. Remove bolts from sensor.
4. Remove sensor.

1. Bolt sensor to intake.
2. Attach electrical connector to sensor.
3. Install the negative battery cable.

If you are looking at the motor from the front of the car it is on the right side of the plenum it has a wire hook up and it gets vacuum straight from the plenum its just a square box don't look like its important . Hope this makes some sense.

The knock sensor is threaded into the block of the engine, just below where the cylinder head sits. You will need to remove the intake plenum (upper and lower) to access this part.

hayes has a great bible for your car i would sugest getting 1 and read a little
