Heat pump dryer not collecting water.
If your heat pump dryer isn't collecting water, check that the water container is correctly fitted, clean the filters and condenser, and make sure the drain hose isn't blocked or connected to a drain instead of the water tank. If the issue continues, the dryer may need servicing.

Pretty sure I fixed the problem the drain was clogged... Problem is I can't even get it to power up
If the drain was clogged and now the unit will not power up at all, there's a good chance a safety switch tripped or moisture affected the controls. On furnaces, boilers, and many HVAC systems, a clogged condensate drain commonly triggers a shutdown.
Check these things:
Power switch near the unit
Make sure the furnace/service switch wasn't bumped OFF.
Breaker/fuse
Reset the breaker fully OFF then back ON.
Condensate float switch
Many systems have a float safety switch wired into the drain line or pan. If it still senses water, the system stays dead.
Remove water from the pan/drain and make sure the float moves freely.
Door safety switch
Make sure the access panel is fully seated; the unit won't power with the panel switch open.
Control board LED
Look through the sight glass for any lights.
No lights at all usually means no low-voltage or no line power.
GFCI outlet
Some condensate pumps plug into a GFCI outlet that may have tripped.
If you have a condensate pump:
Verify it has power.
Empty the reservoir.
Press the reset if equipped.

no 2 models are the same from 1960 to now.
my mom had the first ever dryer sold in USA> 60's? early gas.
1963 by Borg Warner, Norge.

some can be just popped open they have spring clips

if electric only dryer
it has 240vac power there and huge current flows.
and is lethal, do no play inside it. unless trained to work in
high voltage appliances.
I assumed a 3000watt electric only dryer, it is worse case.

I have a F&P ED52-F cloths dryer that is not heating. I have checked the elements and they are all ok.
well all dryer made have protection for safety.
lid switch dead? (loves to fail first)
heats then fails or never ever gets hot at all first started cold
electric resistance heat I guess sure Elements.
over TEMP sensors tripped. (good or bad) if is too hot the trip IS GOOD.
they are called by me Permissive's.
if you get the schematic on the dryer all this magic is not gone.
most appliances of you pop the hood (joking 1/2_) the lid of this huge box comes off and under that list is huge envelope with the
full schematic inside, seen this vast times. so I look every time.
or buy the service manual online first.

then the voltmeter AC never lies, it shows the point of failure
on the BLACK hot side(USA colors);.
this works easy doing so but 240vac is not for kids to play with.
it can be lethal, easy.!!! my new house I just built is full of GFI breakers. German made.
do all tests 1 hand in a pocket, make sure the dryer ground is good even up graded the service breaker to GFIC , so humans .
are protected. best.
the rear of the dryer says stay out for a reason,
cause2:
if it gets hot and fails.
the filer screens are lint packed
or the exhaust pipe to outside out is full of lint packed up.
if all this is true (cause2) run the dryer with no vent pipe
short time, to test theory.
also with that pipe off look INSIDE that source pipe
is it all packed up????????? huge common cause here.

Miller electric syncrowave 350lx -4 code when powered on
It sounds like your Miller Syncrowave 350LX is experiencing a power mismatch or an internal "linking" issue. The "-4" code often relates to the machine's input power sensing or control board calibration during startup.
1. Check Input Power Linking (Jumper Links)
Unlike newer "Auto-Line" machines, the Syncrowave 350LX usually requires manual Internal Voltage Linking.
The Problem: If the machine was previously used in a shop with 460V or 575V power, it will not run correctly on your garage's 240V even if you wired the plug correctly.

Your description of the wiring (Green = Ground, White/Black = Hot) is standard for a 240V single-phase circuit. However, ensure:

Amperage: A Syncrowave 350LX can pull over 100 Amps at full tilt. On a standard 50A garage circuit, it will power on, but you may see a "thin stream" or weak arc if it can't draw enough current.
3. "Thin Stream" Arc (High Frequency Only)
If you see a thin blue spark but no "meat" to the arc, you are likely seeing only the High Frequency (HF) starting circuit.
The HF is jumping the gap, but the main welding transformer (the "power") is not engaging.
This is a classic symptom of the machine being linked for the wrong voltage (e.g., linked for 460V while receiving 240V), causing the main contactor or SCRs to fail to fire.

I need replacement knobs for my Hawaiian breeze 20 inch box fans. The knob is on the top of the fan, not the front. I have 2 of these fans and the knobs have mysteriously disappeared.
Step 1: Measure the current (missing) knob / shaft
Because there is no universal knob that fits
all fans, you'll need to match a few dimensions and shaft style:
- Shaft diameter: The knob fits over the motor's speed-control shaft. Common sizes are around 6?mm, 6.5?mm, ΒΌ" etc.
- Shaft profile / keying: The shaft may be "D?shaped" (flat on one side), double?D, or round with a flat. Sometimes there is a slot for a set?screw.
- Shaft length protruding above the panel: How far does the shaft stick out above the top surface of the fan?
- Knob inside depth / bore depth: The knob's internal bore depth must match so it can fully seat.
- Knob outer diameter / style: For grip, aesthetics, etc.
For example, I found a note in a 3D?printing forum saying:
