Photos display correctly on laptop but rotate when downloaded to frame
Some Laptops have the ability to automatically rotate pictures based on certain criteria. Being as you now know the pictures are sideways, simply rotate them in most any graphics program, and save them with a different name. (I usually use something like HPIM2345.JPG and the new name would be HPIM2345a.JPG. I do this so I still have the original in case something goes wrong. I go through the whole batch from my camera or phone, rotate as necessary, and once I am sure they are OK then I delete the original.
