If the problem is not hardware related than its likely your missing a software update. You can find the software updates on Pelco's website or trouble shoot with fellow techies & tech support at www.pelco.com/community - doubt your still going at it after a year but good information never hurt :)

Your pendrive is infected with Autorun.inf virus
to remove this virus install malwarebytes (It is antimalware
software)and scan your whole computer as well as your pendrive when
you scaning finish remove all threats

That is not coming from the camera...They don't put anything
like that out. Check the OSD settings of the device the video is going into. If
there is On Screen Display setting with in the device (DVR, MUX, Matrix Switch,
ECT)....if that doesn’t work then check the monitor menu to see if its a
display feature you can turn off...good luck and let me know if this helps just
remember the pelco camera will not push any graphic out except in the case of a
PTZ where you will see the Protocol information text...
I have an exterior pelco PTZ camera and the screen shows all Q's
The model number can be found on the back side of the dome drive and it would help to pull it out of the back box any way so you can cycle power to the dome drive....If the Q's do not go away call 1-800-289-9100 24/7 and you will get a live person in tech support and they can issue an RA number for repair....the estimate is free you just have to pay the shipping....Pelco is the best when it comes to warranty's and bending the rules for the customer on them....let me know if this helps and good luck
