Hello, I have an HP Laptop with Vista. I am getting a code 39 error and a yellow exclamation point next to my cd/dvd driver. I have a Slimtype DVD A DS8AZH ATA Device. I have tried to update the driver , but it says that I have the latest driver. Don't know what to do next ????? Thanks, Denise
It's a drive problem,Uninstall the DVD device,Then restart and let windows install it again.

I have done as the answer suggested and uninstalled the driver and it still says that it has the latest version. Yet, I can not use it at all. Please help, i am a student and desperately need my drive.
