Getting a fan error code..

Well last time it was the freezer not the fridge side.. The fridge side was warm and I assumed a family member may have left it open during the night yet again, I'm not sure.. I removed the panel, removed the ice that everyone seems to find as the culprit. And replaced everything.. Started it up, and ****! NO FAN ON THE FRIDGE SIDE. Fig I left the plug undone or something so I removed the panel again, unplugged and plugged everything back in, and still no fan.. I am a terrible electrician, so what I want to know is A> how do I test the female connector in the fridge to see if its actually sending power triggering the fan to come on. B> IF I am not getting power being sent to the fan, what can the culprit be? THE Mystery is that even though it was making noise from the ice buildup, the fan was coming on before said Idiot me, removed the panel. CLUE MAYBE: I plugged the fridge in without the cold drawer installed and the display went wacky for a minute and showed an error. Vertical bar on the left top of the 8.

Im not sure if you have given it time to pull down, but on some fridges after a defrost is done, the fan wont come on untill a certain temp. is reached in the freezer compartment.then all of a sudden the fans start working.
