Hi,
just formate youur tab beacuse the setting is get corruoted from virus and intall the antivirus also, then you can able to download anything without any problem

Hi,

Well have you tried java.com or used the play store if not java is not designed for your type of tablet, just like flash isnt for android devices

How to install java in my galaxy tab
Galaxy uses the android platform.
You need to first transfer the file to your sd card and use a file manager to find it. then click + install.

If your trying to view java with the default browser you will need to search the market for an AIO "all in one" Browser. This will let you view java.

.Jar files cannot install on the Android platform.
The only mobile platform .jar files work on is BlackBerry.
There was a site that claimed to convert .jar files to .apk ( an android file format) but the claim was incorrect.

How do i install java for the samsung galaxy tab please?
Even though Android is based on Java, you cannot just pop in a .jar file and play it. It needs to be in apk format, short for android package(i presume). You need to first transfer the file to your sd card and use a file manager to find it. then click + install. I suggest ASTRO (file manager)
