Runtime '429' error

I have installed this software on a Vista Operating system and most things work (after some tweeking here and there)except when I go to create the resume. This is when I get a runtime '429' error "ActiveX component can't create object" I click OK and am then taken out of the software entirely.

Same thing although I'm using ResumeMaker Primer from Individual software.

Here's the info from their support site that let me fix the problem:

    Cause: An inaccurate
    version of DirectX.

    Resolution: Update your
    DirectX version.

Updating DirectX and re-installing the ResumeMaker program

    Note:
    A DirectX update
requires you to restart your machine, please exit all programs before
    following these instructions.

        Click

        here
        to download DirectX 9.0c.

Click the Run or Open button
        to start the installation.

        Click the I accept the
        agreement
        radio button.

        Click the Next button
        twice.

        Click the Finish
button to restart your machine and complete the installation.

        Uninstall the ResumeMaker
        program.

It sounds like your product is not compatible to Vista....you may need to email the creators of this product and ask them for the update if they have made one YET.
