Your black developer has reached its life. If you are not having quality problems then go ahead and keep running otherwise you need to replace the developer. Usually there are other codes on that model that are not displaying until the first code is cleared. Most likely your black drum is also do. You can check print a report with your counter from simulation 22-6 and you can clear the counter after the maintenance is preformed with simulation 24-?. to enter simulation mode from the homescreen press #*C* one at a time.

VK means black developer has reached end of life. You can safly carry on using the copier with this message displayed but over time the copy quality may slowly degrade. You will need to call a Sharp authorized dealer to replace the developer in the developer unit.

VK = 100,000 pages printed on the developer counter or 715,000 revolutions of the developer unit (as mixing can occur even when pages are not being printed). Developer can break down over time and or the seals can be damaged - so service by a technician is indicated. If maintenance was recently performed and the developer replaced then the counter needs to be reset.
