I have a tefal breadmaker and have programed in 1 in error. iam makeing yoghurt bread which should be set on program 8 how do i reset to the correct program
Usually one would fix this situation by cancelling the current program by pressing the Program key for about 5 secs. But then you will have to wait for an hour or so before starting the new program to overcome the protection interlock in the appliance. Please check the manual for your model of the breadmaker.

I ignored the instructions which told me to follow instructions which were left out of the booklet. I just washed the breadpan and paddle with hot water and dish detergent, dried them, and made bread. Everything A-OK.
SOURCE: Bread not rising enough
We had exactly the same problem. We contacted Panasonic who supplied bogus "advice" about changing the type of flour and using more water. We eventually discovered the reason for the problems: the mixing paddle was now a loose fit to the spindle. Part way through the baking process it would stick. We also have a solution. You jam tin foil in the gap between the spindle and the paddle, it works a treat. Don't waste you money on a new paddle, this won't be a tight enough fit.

I wrote to Sunbeam customer service and received this response:
"Breadmaker
model 5890 has a 30-minute delay cycle on the Wheat setting. This
allows for a period at the beginning of the cycle to “soften” the
ingredients for better results. During the first 30 minutes, the
machine does not do anything."
Apparently, this is by design.

The bread lovers bread machine cookbook by Beth Hensperger is a great alternative to the recipes that come with the unit. I have had great luck with all the recipes from this book unlike the ones provided.
SOURCE: can't clear the programming when programmed incorrectly or want to bake a second loaf of bread
