Your bluray drive is going out. since you probably dont have your receipt or you're outside of one year, you'll be required to pay a fee of 149$ to fix it i fyou live in the us. if you're in canda, 169$ canadian

this error code (80010514) is indeed a hardware failure, to be more specific, the Blueray drive has failed and the system will not run like this. If you can still avail the warranty, then sent it back for replacement under warranty. I hope this may help you,

Unfortunately, from what I have read, it looks like you should call Sony. This is a hardware failure code and has nothing to do with firmware. Hopefully the system is still under warranty.

the problem should not happen again. but with all equipment with a disc drive, it is possible that the disc drive will fail and need to be replaced.the ps3 is just another computer and there are no garuntees
