The brightness function keys stop working, and the screen is at full brightness all the time.

You can adjust brightness display driver property r click property display setting advanced
you can adjust brightness

SOURCE: Regularly adjust screen brightness & now function F5 not working

Try right clicking the desktop and click properties find out what video card you then visit their website for answers
