Error E73 How to fix error E73 on my xbox 360 please!

    How many problems does the xbox have.. I am on my 3rd xbox in 2 years and spending more and more money to keep it running.. There needs to be a class action law suit for these guys.. I am not goin to spend 100 dollars every year to keep my xbox running.. Do not buy the next generation xbox and make your statement if you have had problem after problem... Lets shut these guys down!

    it does not work my error code is E 73 and am already wireless so what do i do to my XBox 360 to fix it

It looks like your ethernet port is fried...try disconnecting your cable to it and see if it boots....if it does your going to have to go wireless, it uses usb. good luck!

General hardware error. This is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port.
Recommend calling 1.800.4my.xbox for repair.

I have an e73 system error problem
E73: I/O Hardware Error - Couldn't calibrate HSIO Bus from edram: this error is likely caused by a problem with the Ethernet port or supporting control devices.

Here is a link to a temporary fix. I DO NOT RECCOMEND YOU DOING THIS as it may do more damage to your 360. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

This is caused by overheating, a cold solder joint under the southbridge or ethernet chip.

Sysem error E73 on Xbox 360
Follow the steps below, Hope this helps

1. Turn off the xbox 360, disconnect the cables wait for 20 seconds reconnect the cables and turn it back on.

2. Remove the hard drive, turn on your xbox 360 without the hard drive.

3. Re attach the hard drive and turn on your xbox 360

4. If the steps wont resolve the issue, your console needs to be serviced. Contact Xbox Customer Support to check the warranty status of your xbox 360.. Good Luck!
