I have a Frigidaire LAD504TDL dehumidifier and code 'ES' shows on display. What does this code mean? Unit runs but not much water in tank.

Good Morning Mark, thank you for your post!

I see that your Frigidaire dehumidifier is displaying an error code of "ES" and you would like to the meaning of that error code. The "ES" error code stands for evaporator thermistor error. This could be a possible problem with your control panel, thermistor, or a wiring harness. I would recommend contacting your manufacturer for further assistance with your dehumidifier. Best of luck! -Matt

What are the codes. i get co as a code. itruns but will not remove the humidity

CO just means it is in continuous mode, that is not a fault. It may take quite a few days to settle the humidity.
The codes are AS or ES which indicate sensor faults

What does P1 mean

t appears to mean "defrosting." In other words, the condenser coils have gotten too cold and are icing up..

The filter is probably full, or the thermostat is faulty. Open it up and clean the filter first.

Bought a new BHD-651-G 65 pint dehumidifier. Set it up and started it. Immediately got an error code "AS"" which is a "humidity sensor error." The instruction book said pull the...

It's easy to replace, if after you dismantle the unit, you know what to look for. If not, than it would be difficult. Your Owner's Manual may have a schematic in it, that would be of tremendous help. If it doesn't contact Heat Controller Inc, and ask them to email you a schematic. Then, after reviewing it, you can decide whether it would be to difficult or not for you to do.

Bionaire BDQ25 QUIETech Dehumidifier, manual all the lights are on and shows a "E1" problem, we have unplugged and plugged back - it does not work

Since Bioaire is stingy with their Owners Manuals, it's hard to tell you what the error code means. However, if you have misplaced your Owners Manual, you can contact the company"s Customer Service Dept for a replacement, as well as what the Error Code means and how to solve it. In CANADA and the USA Call 1-888-324-9907

Read the instruction manual thoroughly and ensure you did everything exactly. If it still doesn't work it is faulty and should be returned.

My Frigidaire dehumidifier model FDL70S1has an error code "A5" My coils keep freezing up as well with heavy ice. It has worked fine in the same spot in the basement for two years until last week....

All most all dehumidifiers have a defrost cycle to take care of this problem. However, yours is either not working or the air intake filter is clogged, which makes the unit strain to keep up. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit, before attempting to remove the filter. Allow the unit to thaw while it's unplugged. Once it's completely thawed, plug the unit back in, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and set your controls as you normally do. Within in an hour or two, you will know if this solved the problem. Also, keep in mind, dehumidifiers are designed only to work in temperatures above 41 degrees. If it's below that where you have the unit, that will cause it to freeze up.

With all that said, what you're seeing as the Error Code is in fact, AS (the 'S' looks a lot like a 5 on the LED screen) It indicates a Sensor Failure. In your case, it's more than likely the Defrost Cycle Sensor. The Owners Manual says "Contact your local Authorized Frigidaire Service Center, if this happens. I'm hoping that cleaning the filter (if needed) and allowing the unit to reset itself (while it's OFF & Unplugged) will solve the problem. But, it may only be a band aide fix.

Hope this helped you.
