One ring
Your station phone is most likely programmed to delay ring or you have the system in night ring mode. There may be a pre-programmed button for night ring. Also try hitting the increase volume button with nothing else going on with the phone, if its a low ringer feature.
Voicemail light turn off
You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.
The monitor button stays lit
Hello.
Try resetting the phone: disconnect the power and cable. Wait 10 minutes. Reconnect again.
The Monitor button - is that the speakerphone ?

If you are not worried about phone book you can factory reset it.
Feature Key Reset FEATURE
This feature is used to reset all Flexible Feature buttons to factory
settings.
Operation
1. While the extension is idle no call activity, press FEATURE.
The display prompts for the password:
PSWD underscore symbol
bksp show chg
2. Enter the extension password and then press show. The display
prompts for confirmation:
FTR KEY RESET
go
3. Press go. The operation is complete and you hear a confirmation tone.
How do i record the main greeting on a comdial edge 120
I just went thru this.
Push the Voicemail button, hit # until it asks for mailbox #, then hit 70 for password. Wait for main menu, then hit 3 for options. Then hit 2 to record your greeting. Now the tricky part,,, I don't know if these are all programmed the same way, but it will ask for the number of the box you wish to change, ours is 800, then follow along.

What I'm trying to find out is how you can import a prerecorded message (mp3) as your greeting.

My uniden phone keeps beeping
If this is a wireless phone first I would check the battery this may be a low or battery signal. If you done this then check to see if the intercom or pager button on the main base is stuck. If none of this works then I suggest that you buy a new onen they are cheap enough that it would cost more to repair than to buy another.
