The 980.03 communications error on Lexmark X945e indicates a communication problem with the Finisher Controller Card. This usually requires a service call as it deals with cable connections from the finisher, from the bridge unit, the finisher controller card assembly, or the engine card assembly. But try to unplug the printer from power source, replug after 30 seconds. Plug printer straight to power outlet in the wall. Bypass any surge device, power strips or uninterruptible power supply (UPS). These can cause false error messages. If problem continues, I strongly suggest you contact Lexmark technical support or your authorized service provider for assistance. Thanks.

29 = not listed

129 = not listed

80 = HPCO Fault - problem is in outdoor unit - Desscription: High Pressure Monitor Fault (hard lock out, cycle power to reset)

91 = Communication Inactive Fault - problem is in air handler - Descriptions - COMM Bit Master Clock Error, COMM Heat/Cool Demand Error, Serial Motor Communication Inactive Error

91 = Communication Fault - problem is in furnace - Descriptions: Blower motor no COMM response, Inducer motor no COMM response, Loss of heat/cool demand, Loss of clock signal

91 = Communication Fault - problem is in outdoor unit - Descriptions: Loss of Heat/Cool Demand Message (COMM), Loss of Bit Master (Clock Signal)

91 = Communication Fault - Description: Comm line is dead and no bits have been received.

By the way, I do not recommend American Standard. I've had mine 14 months and it just blew up - the entire control panel blew. My advice to you - think about a different brand.

There is a big chance this is a line problem, contact your phone line company before trying to fix or replace your Fax modem on the MFP.

There is a problem due to comm.drv which is located in system folder of Win.3.11. If the comm.drv is dated Nov.1. 1993 and is 5,968 bytes, please check the property of the comm.drv within your PC. Although the problem is due to the comm.drv, FUJI has prepared a new sdt-7 for Win.311. Please call Customer service at to obtain the sdt-7 or go to the ftp site and download sdt7w31v20.exe. It is important that your PC has Win 32s loaded before install your new sdt-7.
