The PTD1640U output is 16 volts AC (alternating current) so there is no polarity to the wires. You can hook either wire to either terminal on the wall transformer.

Cannot get clock to reset I tried *6code1 and time
has to be the four digit MASTER code and military time. sometimes have to do twice. For instance. *612340800112310##
so that was *6 a master code 0800 for time and 112310 for date then hit # to save and # again to return to main screen.
Where can i buy
I believe they have been discontinued but I have 16V transformers.

What is the master code for a DSC pk5501 alarm
It depends on the alarm dealer that installed it since it was set by them when it was installed. The master code is never left something like 1234. You should call the last company to service the system. You can't typically default an alarm panel to put a code back to default.

Could you maybe look for a brand and model on the system? Either on the keypad or on the system box (metal panel somewhere in the house)?
Then maybe Google the brand and model, looking for a manual?
